Turn a few simple household ingredients into a beautiful, lightly scented lip gloss with this little project. Perfect for Tween birthday party favors or girls who are just starting to experiment with make-up, the colors and scents can easily be varied by changing flavors.
Things you’ll need:Small saucepan
Vaseline
Flavored Kool-Aid
Small spoon
Small-lidded jar
Things to do:1. Scoop out about half of the Vaseline and warm it slowly and gently in the saucepan.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2. Stir one package of Kool-Aid into the remaining, unmelted Vaseline. Continue to stir until well mixed. At this point the mixture will be slightly dark.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3. Pour the melted Vaseline back into the container and stir until the mixture is pourable and evenly colored. At this point you can add a small amount of fine glitter if desired.
4. Carefully pour the lip gloss into the lidded jars, allow it to cool before closing.
